Martin Locke Homes to build under new banner

Since its inception in 2010, Martin Locke Homes has built up its reputation to be among Townsville’s stand-out builders of beautifully-crafted custom homes, now it is building under a new banner – ‘Built For Life’.

Director Martin Locke said the ‘Built For Life’ tagline represented the essence of what his team aims to achieve with every home they build.

“My team came to me and said we needed a tagline that truly represented what we do and why we do it,” he said.

“And while we should always be judged by our actions, not our words, I had to agree with them that Martin Locke Homes – Built for Life is exactly what we are about.

“A home should enhance your life, it should suit your family’s needs and the community’s needs, it should be safe and adaptable, it should be crafted with care and skill and made to last – it should be Built For Life.”

The Martin Locke Homes team is proud to be leading the way in building accessible homes in North Queensland and they incorporate accessible features as standard in every house they build.

“Accessible living features such as no-steps into and throughout the house, wider doors and halls and our signature rebated sliding door to the alfresco, can cater for young families with children; seniors; people with injuries; as well as those living with disabilities.

“Not only do these accessible elements make homes safer and more comfortable to live in now, but they will deliver huge dividends for future generations of North Queenslanders.”

The respected builder took out the 2016 Master Builders Queensland award for Lifestyle Housing for High Care Needs, Disabled and Seniors Award – Purpose Built Detached Dwelling.

While also claiming an additional Trevor Mustey Perpetual Award for Quality Workmanship at the Regional level.

“Workmanship and care are extremely important to us at Martin Locke Homes, that’s why we limit our number of builds each year to ensure we deliver that superior level of finish every time, and each home comes with our life-time structural guarantee,” Martin said.

“If you choose to build with us I will personally guarantee your home will be Built For Life.”

Martin Locke Homes’ two current display home at North Shore is built to the silver level of the Livable Housing Australia Guidelines while its new Display Home at Harris Crossing, also built to the Silver Level, takes livable luxury to the next level, with an adjustable kitchen stone bench and accessible pool.
