Meet the Martin Locke Homes Team

Martin's love for the construction industry started back in 1986 through his days on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane as a plumber. And while it was Rugby League that brought Martin & his family to Townsville at the end of 1995, where he played and worked for the NQ Cowboys for 10 years, the building industry was always where he was destined to return to.

In 2005, the swap from business shirt and tie, back to steel cap boots and shovel saw Martin become a site supervisor, plumber, estimator, landscaper, project manager, and builder for numerous construction projects throughout Townsville. In 2010, Martin's passion and desire to fully focus on residential new-home construction saw the establishment of Martin Locke Homes.

Today, Martin is the person that people love to meet when searching for a builder. He enjoys helping people achieve their dreams of what a home can bring to a family or individual. And while he is no longer on the tools, he loves and appreciates the amazing Team he has around him, especially the ‘Professional Tradie’, who has a desire to ‘Be the Best!’
