In 2013, Martin Locke Homes built their second display home, taking out not only Display Home of the Year with Master Builders, but also the regions highest award, Home of the Year. Judges and everyone who visited the display agreed that this home took living in NQ to a new level.
While the features were many, there was no doubt the main talking point of this magnificent home was the large alfresco area. It not only was large enough to have dining, lounge, BBQ area, benches, sink and TV nook it also was able to be fully locked via concealed remote control shutter doors and bi-fold corner windows. And again was connected to the main living with the rebated door system.
The home became known as the new ‘Modern Queenslander’, and is still talked about today by those who had visited the home. But it was also the high level of quality finishes throughout the whole home that the judges where most impressed with, which again Martin Locke Homes carries through to today in every home he builds.
