In 2013, Martin Locke Homes built our second display home which would ultimately take out Master Builders' Display Home of the Year, but also the region's highest award: Home of the Year. Judges and everyone who visited the display agreed that this home took living in NQ to a new level.
While the features were many, there was no doubt the main talking point of this magnificent home was the large alfresco area. It not only was large enough to have dining, lounge and BBQ areas, benches, sink and TV nook it also was able to be fully locked via concealed remote control shutter doors and bi-fold corner windows - all connected to the main living with the rebated door system.
The home became known as the new ‘Modern Queenslander’, and is still talked about today by those who had visited. But it was also the high level of quality finishes throughout the whole home that the judges where most impressed with, something Martin Locke Homes continues to be renowned for today in every home we build.
