The Kristy 254 was Martin Locke Homes first display, which opened December 2010. That same year it was awarded two Major Awards - ‘State’ Display Home of the Year in its category and the prestigious President's Award, making Martin and our team an instant success.
Martin was the first builder in North Queensland to introduce the MLH signature ‘rebated sliding door system’ as a standard feature. These 2.3m high sliding glass doors connect the indoor and outdoor living areas seamlessly with no step and include a drain system under the concrete slab to ensure no water enters the home. This is still a standard feature in all of MLH designs today.
It is just one of many features Martin and his team have introduced over the years in an effort to raise the standard of building practices in the North. They are very proud of the fact that other builders are now also using this technique and is an example of why Martin Locke Homes is regarded as an industry influencer and leader.
